RenRuki: The Day You Came To MeShe wasn't running and screaming when I saw her at the edge of the forest. Calm and deliberately, she was walking toward the steps to my dorm; her left arm clutching the right slightly as if it were cold. My eyes lingered to her fingers clutching the flesh.

The arm was pounded purple. The blood that had dribbled down her forearm to her elbow was dried and browning, seeming like dirt to the naked eye. But I knew better.

My feet scraped across the wood steps and into the mud. She didn't fall into my arms helpless, but then, Rukia never was helpless in anyone's arms.

"Rukia," My voice came out as a bit of a croak, slightly stunned at its hoar
